Received an interesting email?yesterday from a mother who is asking for assistance with her daughter?s (small) school project on Egyptian Dance.? My immediate reaction?? ?What a complex and obscure subject to give an 11 y\/old as an end of year ?stocking filler?.?? Shame that even in research and study it is mostly relegated to?the side line?- there is so much to be gained from viewing Egypt through their folk art.? Of course I will assist ?
